Crackdown 3, one of Microsoft’s upcoming first-party releases might just have its release date leaked. According to the leak, Crackdown 3 Release Date is set for April 30th exclusively on Xbox One and PC.
The leak comes straight out of Amazon Italy where Crackdown 3’s sale page has been updated with the game’s release date. According to Amazon, the game will be releasing on April 30, 2018, a date between the release window Microsoft has given out. Its price is set for 69.99EUR and the pre-orders are already available.
Previous reports indicated that the game could launch during E3 2018. Stephen Ashby, the editor for the official Xbox magazine, mentioned that if the game doesn’t release before E3 2018, it wouldn’t be surprising if Microsoft takes to stage in LA to release Crackdown 3 on the same day as E3.
Crackdown 3 will include 4-player co-op via Xbox Live as well as a new multiplayer mode called Chaos as well as Microsoft Cloud Technology, where Crackdown 3 is the first game to have this feature. Furthermore, the game has been improved to offer the best game with true 4K resolution with Xbox One X enhancements.
Crackdown 3 is considered a huge game for Microsoft since its world has also been expanded not just horizontally, in how long it took you to move from end to end, but also vertically, meaning that most of the buildings are twice as tall as the ones in the original Crackdown.
However, if you are interested in buying Crackdown 3 on Xbox One, you can also get a $10 subscription to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service instead of buying the full game and have access to it and all other titles included in its library for as long as you keep renewing your monthly sub. This is part of Microsoft’s new service that makes all first-party releases available on Xbox Game Pass on launch day. This service includes Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2 as well.
