Hideo Kojima: Death Stranding Development Has Come Out Of The Experimental Phase, Release Date To Be Revealed Soon?

Developer Hideo Kojima has revealed that Death Stranding development has come out of the experimental phase and is quite near its completion.

Death Stranding is one of the most anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusives and fans are waiting for Hideo Kojima to announce the release date for the game and while we are not about to get one but Kojima has revealed that Death Stranding has come out of the experimental phase and is quite near its completion.

In a recent interview, Kojima revealed that Death Stranding has come out of the experimental phase saying “Currently, we have surpassed the experiment phase, and by entering the next step, we’re feeling the response to the new gameplay”.

The game seems to be quite near its completion and there is a possibility that the game’s release date will be announced soon.

Nothing is known about the game but we are sure that the singleplayer campaign for Death Stranding, however, the game will also feature a multiplayer component too. According to Kojima himself, the game’s multiplayer will be different. However, he didn’t reveal any specific details.

[Multiplayer is] also one big part of the game I can’t talk too much about, but I definitely want to try something different for online.

The game features  Mads Mikkelsen and Norman Reedus, however, not much is known about their characters in the game. However, according to Mikkelsen himself, his character is more than what it seems in Death Stranding.

(Kojima’s) games are not as black and white as Hollywood is sometimes. So there are more nuances of gray in his world. You’ll have to encounter these characters in different ways throughout the game.

Furthermore, there is a possibility that a Female Ludan might be revealed in a new trailer. Also, there is a rumor making rounds on the internet for quite some time that Stefanie Joosten might be the female Ludan. Stefanie previously played the role of Quiet in MGS V: The Phantom Pain.

Death Stranding is currently in development at Kojima Productions exclusively for PlayStation 4 and is expected to launch in 2018.
