Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris Eater of Worlds Raid is the first of the two Raid Lairs which is being introduced with the Curse of Osiris DLC. These are mini raids which have Guardians face off against a lot of various different enemies and bosses.
This Curse of Osiris Eater of Worlds Raid Guide will tell you everything about the first Raid Lair and what it is made of. The raid is expected to be more difficult than the first Leviathan Raid so a guide will probably be required to complete it.
Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris Eater of Worlds Raid
The Eater of Worlds Raid Lair will be introduced just after the Curse of Osiris DLC which is released on 5th December 2017. The second Raid Lair will be introduced with the second expansion which is expected in the spring of 2018. Let’s take a look at what we know of the first Raid Lair now.
Eater of Worlds will be a six-player activity at the Leviathan Ship in which you have to move to the belly of the beast. Guided games will be an option for both Seekers and Guides.
The raid will also support a Prestige mode for players who like to brag about their skills and experience.
There will, of course, be a new boss, new gear, encounters and puzzles along with a host of new challenges and rewards as the battles take place aboard the Leviathan. Among the rewards will be armor, weapons and cosmetic items.
We also know that the Raid will be shorter than the main Leviathan Raid, and perhaps a little bit tougher as well.
Just like Leviathan, there will be limited amount of revive tokens. This means that you will only be able to revive one player using the token.
However, there is not any checkpoint system to work out for getting to the next encounter. Hence, a door is there from outside the settings as soon as you load in, which takes you from a linear road to the last encounter you played in a week.
In order to achieve the Max Power Level, you will have to replay each week as Eaters of Worlds is one of the few sources to get to max power level. Besides, you also receive tokens which you can spend at vendor Benedict at the tower to get Raid-specific gear.
In terms of classes, few of the classes are pretty useful. The Hunter void class lets you go invisible or tether enemies for damage phases. There are also sub-classes which are worth unlocking as they strengthen your defense and attack both.
While for weapons, you should always bring your best weapons. Rocket launcher can be pretty useful but you must not opt for it for the final battle. Assault rifles and armor should be your top most priorities here.
Finally, you can also join a clan, and you must, in order to unlock a bonus Engram by the end of raids.
