#1 – Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Black Screen Issue
There are a few things you can try to resolve this issue. First, make sure that Steam Overlay is disabled as there are reports that the game does not support it.
If that doesn’t fix the issue and you have the latest GPU drivers installed (AMD or Nvidia), try rolling back your drivers to an older version. This shouldn’t happen; however, this seems to have fixed the issue for some.
#2 – Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Full Screen Issue Fix
If your full screen gets messed up, you need to go to settings and disable Async Compute option. This should fix the full screen weird issue.
#3 – Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Freezing Fix
If you are meeting the required specs to run the game and still getting the freezing issue, you should try the workaround mentioned in #2. You may have to restart the game to make it work.

The users who are facing this issue seem to have downloaded corrupted files from some servers and are unable to get into the game. Unfortunately, if verifying the game files doesn’t work, you will have to wait for a patch to fix this issue.
Also if you are using a laptop with multiple GPUs, you should disable the integrated one (The intel GPU). This seems to have fixed the crash dump issue for some.
#7 – Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Message Type Not Supported and Blank Menu Screen
There is a workaround to fix this issue. You need to delete save files from the save file directory (Administrator/Savegames/MachineGames/Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus) of the game. Once you have deleted them, disable cloud save on Steam and re-enable it. Restart Steam once more and this should resolve the issue.
#8 – Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Poor Performance/Low FPS Fix
If you are getting poor performance on you perfectly capable Rig, you should make sure that the following things are checked:
- Your GPU drivers are up to date.
- You system is not running in the power saving mode.
- If you are on a laptop, the game is being run by using dedicated GPU and not the integrated one.

If the objectives have disappeared from the journal, you should join this mission and leave it once to make them reappear in your Journal. This is a known bug and might be fixed with future updates.
