Forza Motorsport 7 demo was released by Microsoft and Turn10 recently and it seems that the game is suffering from initial CPU optimization issues from Forza Horizon 3. It is interesting that these issues are still there keeping in mind the fact that Turn10 and Playground Games went through a lot trying to get rid of these issues in Forza Horizon 3 just to have them back in Forza Motorsport 7.
Even though these issues are there, it does not mean that the game does not run well. The game ran fine at 1080p 60 FPS using an Intel Core i7 4930K and the Nidia GTX 980 Ti. Even running the game at ultra settings it was pretty much stable at 4K 60 FPS.
Keep in mind that those with weaker CPUs will run into problems due to the CPU optimization issues and the lack of multithreaded capabilities of the game. It is important to note that the Demo is not the whole game and you can expect these issues to be resolved when the full game is released. Turn10 has done it before and they can do it again, I have no doubts.
It is also possible that the demo is based on an older build of Forza Motorsport 7 and that these issues have already been resolved. We have no official word regarding the matter from the developers but it will be interesting to see what they have to say and it could add confidence into the hearts of the gamers that are looking to buy the game.
There might be a patch coming out soon for the demo of the game. If that is so then you need to worry about these issues in the actual game.
Let us know what you think about Forza Motorsport 7 and whether or not you are interested in buying the game when it comes out.
