Beyond Good And Evil 2 was one of the main highlights of Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference. While gamers were excited to see that the game is in development but, all we got was a Cinematic trailer for the game and no gameplay was shown. However, Ubisoft has released a behind the scenes video for the game which also glimpses Beyond Good And Evil 2 Gameplay.
In the video, Michel Ancel along with several other developers working on Beyond Good And Evil 2 talk about the game their vision of the game and how they plan to achieve it. In the video, the devs showcase concept art and also give us a little bit of social hierarchy of the game’s setting.
However, the thing that will most interest is the Beyond Good And Evil 2 Gameplay glimpsed in this video. Around 3:45 mark, the video showcases the hybrid Monkey character, Knox, from the trailer, flying around the city on top of a temple which might indicate that it is an open-world title. Check it out in the video below.
Also, Ubisoft has revealed that Beyond Good And Evil 2 is being developed using “Voyager”. An internal tech designed by the devs specifically for the upcoming game. This tech has enabled the studio to give players a feeling of traveling in space and they have been working on this tech for last 3 years.
We created this technology called Voyager that’s enabled us at least to get this feeling of travelling in space, going from one planet to another, to go from your ship to a bigger ship, to go out of your ship and be a normal person. That’s the technology we’ve been working on for three years.
No release date and platforms have been revealed for the upcoming Beyond Good And Evil 2 as the game’s development is still at “Day Zero” despite hyping up the game with a trailer.
