Rumors have started sprouting that there will be two new Xbox exclusive games that will be revealed at Microsoft’s E3 2017 conference. If it’s true, the conference will be giving Microsoft something that the Xbox One has been sorely lacking for a pretty long time; notable Xbox-exclusive games to play.

One of the main reasons that the Playstation 4 has consistently outsold the Xbox One is due to the larger amount of exclusive games that the Playstation 4 has over the Xbox One. Most of the Xbox One’s games can also be played on the Playstation 4, aside from games like Quantum Break and ReCore, and even then those can still be played on the PC (especially with the Play Anywhere program).

The rumor about the two new Xbox exclusive games that will be revealed at E3 came from a page on Best Buy’s online store, which was advertising two games that would be available for pre-order on the Xbox One (Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Crackdown 3), along with two games that were going to be revealed at E3.

So, if the rumor is true, hopefully Xbox gamers will be getting two Triple-A games that they can play without having to worry about it going to other consoles eventually. Hopefully both games will actually be interesting enough that people will want to buy them, rather than being exclusives that no one really wants to play.

There’s also no telling when these games will become available for pre-order or when they will release, but if they’re in the “Pre Order” slot of Best Buy’s website they may be releasing sometime around the end of this year or early next year.

In the meantime, we’ll just have to wait and see when Microsoft’s E3 conference comes around to see just what Microsoft has in store with these two new Xbox exclusive games.
