Nintendo NX Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefield Get into the Rumors List

Nintendo NX Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefield 4 are the latest editions to the rumor mill that has been going on for a while now.

The Nintendo NX may be branching out into the games of other consoles, as French gaming website melty.fr has reported rumors from Nintendo Life writer Liam Robertson that Nintendo may be branching out to Sony and Microsoft in order to lure back Nintendo fans that had left the company in order to play bigger, more successful consoles.

With these negotiations (if true), the Nintendo NX Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefield could be a reality, but even if these games are able to be ported over to the NX, whether the games will work properly is another matter entirely, though it is rumored that the Nintendo NX will be able to support Unreal Engine 4 and Frostbite.

However, the Nintendo NX may also suffer with difficulties due to the perceived lack of content from Battlefront and the fading multiplayer of Battlefield.

In 2008, Nintendo was one of the release platforms for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, where each different version of the game had different content and minor alterations to the story.

Nintendo NX may also have versions of Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon for its release date, as the two newest Pokemon games are slated to release sometime this year, fitting with the NX’s rough release date of Holiday 2016.

With Nintendo’s financial situation still dire despite the resounding successes of the new Super Smash Bros. games, Mario Kart 8, and the just-released Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for Wii U, the Nintendo NX may be one of the last gasps of Nintendo’s console market. Its Wii U has only sold around 69 million units in its entire run.

This is in contrast to Nintendo’s original Wii system, which was able to sell over 100 million units and even outsold the Xbox 360 and PS3.

In addition to the Pokemon Sun and Moon games, the Nintendo NX may also be the first home of the upcoming open-world Legend of Zelda game, along with the long long long anticipated sequel to Beyond Good And Evil. However, time will tell if the console is a success at all.

So how many of you would want Nintendo NX Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefield to be true?
