The first two Witcher titles were phenomenal in the art of story-telling, visuals and gameplay mechanics. However that said, the games still suffered from the limited variations to Geralt’s armor.
All wearable armored pieces for Geralt looked a tad too similar. With Witcher 3 though, CD Projekt Red are looking to correct that little issue.
Geralt of Rivia is supposedly going to have access to 27 different armor sets, as suggested by the concept art released today by the studio’s concept artist Jan Marek. That said it’s unsure if there are other armor sets as well which are not included in this set.
There’s the original rugged Geralt that we all know, robed and hooded versions, one where he masks his face (looks really bad-ass), and two where he’s covered in white. Trying washing the dirt stains from that after slaying a few monsters.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected to release this year for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. According to CD Projekt Red, the power of the new consoles made it possible for the studio to explore that niche. The PC platform though is still going to be the main focus and will require a sizable rig to be played in the highest settings.
