Nintendo has unveiled its 3DS XL: Hyrule Edition which is scheduled to release alongside the upcoming Hyrule Warriors: Legends.

Nintendo 3DS XL: Hyrule Edition comes in golden color with Hyrule Crest design – from the Zelda games – embossed on the front panel of the handheld console. However, one thing to note here is that the said console will not come bundled with a copy of the game.

Being developed by Nintendo and Koei Tecmo; Hyrule Warriors: Legends is basically the 3DS port of Wii U exclusive Hyrule Warriors that basically combines the hack and slash elements of Dynasty Warriors and role-playing game elements from The Legend of Zelda series.

Hyrule Warriors: Legends will include a number of game modes including a full-fledged Story Mode, a Free Mode which allows completion of the game’s story with any character, and Challenge Mode, and an Adventure Mode. In addition to this, users will receive special codes with a copy of the game which will let them download characters such as Skull Kid, Tetra, Toon Link, and more.

The game is currently available in Japan and will release in North America and Europe on Mar. 25, 2016. As for the Nintendo 3DS XL: Hyrule Edition, it is scheduled to release a day early on Mar. 24, 2016.
