According to the Spanish division of Xbox, the Xbox One Scorpio launch will be even more ambitious than we first thought. According to a statement, the console will be launched along with a number of games that can take full advantage of its hardware. The Scorpio will be releasing late this year.

The Xbox One Scorpio is being touted by Microsoft as the most advanced and powerful console of its type. This is even above the Playstation 4 Pro, which came out in November of last year. The Pro has already won some praise for how good a number of its games look, however it’s also gotten some criticism for apparently worse performance on others.
The Xbox One Scorpio launch, if it will be coming out at the same time as other games, has a lot of hype to live up to. Supposedly being more powerful than the Playstation 4 Pro, there’s no telling what sort of games we’ll be seeing when it comes out. We may be seeing all of the games at this year’s E3, not to mention the yearly Call of Duty game that will be developed by Sledgehammer games this year.
We don’t know what sorts of games these are yet, but Juan Carlos of Xbox Spain has said that he believes Xbox owners will be pleasantly surprised by them.
However, Microsoft is still loathe to put out any more information about the console. They haven’t even released the price of the Scorpio yet, despite multiple leaks about its specifications. While we know it will be expensive, as befitting a premium console like this, there’s no specifics available yet.
Until the months leading up to the Xbox One Scorpio launch, Microsoft will likely remain mum on a lot of the console’s details, but hopefully we’ll be able to see more about the console soon.
