A big reveal has been made today for WWE 2K18 and it includes new downloadable characters for its Deluxe Edition. The new WWE 2K18 DLC Characters will be available for everyone who purchases the Deluxe Edition or the Season Pass of the game, in time the characters will be available through individual packs for you to download.
The first characters for the WWE 2K18 DLC to get revealed are the Hardy Boyz, Matt and Jeff Hardy as a comeback to wrestling and the videogame franchise. Later today we saw the announcements of Elias, Ruby Riot from NXT, and Drew McIntyre.
Elias and Ruby Riot will be featured in WWE 2K18 for the first time while McIntyre hasn’t been seen in the franchise since 2K14. A few of WWE 2K18 DLC were announced by IGN a few months ago, 4 in total and will include:
Accelerator Pack: This DLC is the cheapest DLC and allows you to unlock all Unlockables from superstars to arenas to championships plus allow you to edit current WWE stats in the game like change their crowd reaction or their attributes.
John Cena Additional Attires (Not included in Season Pass): This DLC is included only for the Collecter’s and Digital Editions of the Game. This includes John Cena 2006 Attire during ECW: One Night Stand and his Wrestlemania 26 Attire. This can be purchased seperatly from Standard Editions for an additional amount.
RVD and Batista Legends (Not included in Season Pass): This DLC is included only for the Collecter’s and Digital Editions of the Game. This includes RVD 2006 Attire during his match in ECW: One Night Stand and includes Batista’s Wrestlemania 26 Attire. This can be purchased seperatly from Standard Editions for an additional amount.
WWE Supercard Additional Cards: This DLC is included only for the Collecter’s and Digital Editions of the Game. This is more related to WWE Supercard on IOS and Android and not WWE 2K18. Basically this allows you to get a special set of cards featuring John Cena, RVD, And Batista plus a Cena (Nuff) Edition Card Back in the game. This cannot be purchased anywhere else and is limited only to the game.
There will be more WWE 2K18 DLC coming in the future so keep your eyes open for more information. WWE 2K18 releases on October 17 for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One (the Nintendo Switch version arrives in fall). Preordering gets you early access on October 13 for consoles.
