The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Teaser Trailer Released Ahead of VGX Awards

CD Projekt Red has uploaded a teaser video for the world premier gameplay trailer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that will be aired during the VGX awards (formerly known as the VGAs).

The clip shows several aspects of the game, with protagonist Geralt rising horses, dueling with enemies, and sailing ships; the latter of which has been introduced in the series for the very first time. The clip also gives us glimpses of a couple of bosses and its beautiful environment.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is going to be the final installment in the trilogy and be powered by the new REDengine 3, along with advanced Physx and SpeedTree technologies. CD Projekt Red has yet to openly show us just how the game handles but knowing Red, Wild Hunt is going to be an epic adventure and will surely not disappoint fans.

The massive open world is said to promise over a 100 hours of content, with frequent flashbacks to previous events to bring new players up to date with the lore.

The complete trailer will be revealed on December 7, 2013 at 18:00 ET / 15:00 PT during the VGX awards.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is scheduled for release sometime in 2014 on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It’s possible that the VGX awards will also reveal as to when the game will be available.
