The Warcraft movie is set to release in a couple of months, and while you have time to decide whether you want to watch it or not, it could be your time to jump in too World of Warcraft if you haven’t done so already.
Blizzard Entertainment is considering to offer a World of Warcraft Ultimate Movie Edition of the game which could be given to the users free of cost on the purchase of a ticket for the upcoming movie.
A survey has been held by the company in which they have shown interest in giving away digital copies of five game expansions alongside free game time for a whole month as well as an exclusive item.
Here’s an excerpt from the survey in question:
Blizzard is considering the following offer. Please read the offer and answer the following.
The World of Warcraft Ultimate Movie Edition
Contains digital copies of all the following expansions:
- Burning Crusade
- Wrath of the Lich King
- Cataclysm
- Mists of Pandaria
- Warlords of Draenor
It will also include:
- 1 month of free game time
- Exclusive in-game item
Free with the purchase of a ticket to see Warcraft in a theater.
Initially there was some confusion on the internet regarding the legitimacy of this survey. However, a Blizzard Customer Support rep has confirmed on Reddit that the survey is indeed legitimate.
That being said, so far it is just one of the things Blizzard could do as they are only “considering” this approach towards promoting the Warcraft movie, so don’t take anything for granted – for now at least.
