Watch Dogs Fixer Contracts Guide – Decoy, Getaway, Interception and Transporter

Tips and strategies to complete all Watch Dogs Fixer Contracts be it Decoy Contracts, Interception Contracts, Getaway Contracts or Transporter Contracts.

Throughout your journey in Chicago, random people will reach out you for Freelancing jobs extending over a wide-range of categories. These Freelancing Jobs are collectively dubbed as Fixer Contracts.

For more help on Watch Dogs, read our Criminal Convoys, ctOS Breaches Locations and Crafting Guide.

Watch Dogs Fixer Contracts

Fixer Contracts are not only helpful for making some extra bucks, but also unlock various vehicles, skills, and End of Line Achievement/Trophy.

There are four types of Fixer Contracts with each having its own set of missions:

  • Decoy Contracts
  • Getaway Contracts
  • Interception Contracts
  • Transporter Contracts

In this guide, I’ll be providing a walkthrough of all Fixer Contracts Watch_Dogs has to offer.

Decoy Contracts

Like the name suggests, these contracts require you to cause a diversion. After accepting the contract, you need to travel to designated location on your mini-map.

After sitting in the allotted vehicle, you need to go through all the checkpoints in allotted time-frame to complete the mission.

At the end of a mission, if you’re unable to shake off the cops, you must do it to complete the mission. Getting arrested is not an option since it fails the mission.

Trials and Tribulations
Location: Pawnee Trailer Park in Pawnee

The vehicle allotted to you is Kuruhawa 450 and you must go through 32 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

The reward distribution is as follows:

  • 40 seconds on the clock – $10,000
  • 25 seconds on the clock – $9,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $8,000

The most part of this mission takes place in an off-road environment and railway tracks. You need to watch out for rocks and trees while making your way through the track.

Parker Square Rally
Location: Owl Hotel Alley

The vehicle allotted to you is Carrozza and you must go through 24 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

Here’s the reward distribution:

  • 30 seconds on the clock – $3,000
  • 20 seconds on the clock – $2,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $1,000

This track is a mix of off-road and sharp-turns which can be somewhat difficult to master. You need to look out for civilians on the bulwark at the beginning of the track.

Try and loose the accelerator near Checkpoint #13 and Checkpoint #20 as you’ll encounter a sharp turn. You will also have to open up a gate after Checkpoint #22.

Railroad
Location: School Sidewalk (Parker Square)

The vehicle allotted to you is Tributary 1500 and you must complete 27 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

You will find the reward distribution below:

  • A minute on the clock – $10,000
  • 40 seconds on the clock – $9,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $8,000

There are a couple of Checkpoints that can cause a problem for you. A sharp left-turn is required at Checkpoint #4 lest you will miss the tunnel. Slow down a bit at Checkpoint #10 or you will lose control of your vehicle. And finally take the road at Checkpoint #20 instead of sidewalk for an easy completion.

Bootlegged
Location: Eastern Shipping Docks (Brandon Docks)

The vehicle allotted to you is 571 and you must go through 25 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

Here’s the reward distribution:

  • 25 seconds on the clock – $10,000
  • 15 seconds on the clock – $9,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $8,000

You must slow down near the Checkpoint #2 or you will crash miserably since controlling 571 is a tough job. The route between Checkpoint #9 and Checkpoint #13 is the most difficult section. Watch your speed and maneuverability in this section.

You will have quite little time on timer after Checkpoint #20 so make that time count!

Raid
Location: Brick Warehouse (Brandon Docks)

The vehicle allotted to you is Zusume R and you must go through 21 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

The reward distribution is provided below:

  • 35 seconds on the clock – $6,000
  • 25 seconds on the clock – $5,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $4,000

You need to tilt your car a little to the left-side after the first ramp jump to clear this section effectively. The traffic on the both sides can slow you down if you’re not careful enough.

The hardest turn of this track is near Checkpoint #11. Try and slow down followed by ramming the accelerator to go through the barrier. Also note that you will have to break through the fences near Checkpoint #19.

Ridge Rider
Location: North Island (Brandon Docks)

The vehicle allotted to you is Hailkal R and you must go through 17 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

The rewards are distributed in this way:

  • A minute on the clock – $10,000
  • 40 seconds on the clock – $9,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $8,000

I wouldn’t be surprised to see you crashing near Checkpoint #5 or while jumping near Checkpoint #8. The key to completing this track with a Gold is sticking to corners and drifting.

Distraction
Location: South Alley (The Loop)

The vehicle allotted to you is Core-T and you must go through 20 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

The rewards are distributed in following manner:

  • A minute on the clock – $6,000
  • 40 seconds on the clock – $5,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $4,000

Since you will have a decent headstart, make sure to slow down near Checkpoint #3. Also check your speed near Checkpoint #12 as you can easily crash into a tree.

At the very end, you’ll have to open up a garage gate. Do so early or you’ll loose control.

Ghost Trail
Location: Southeast Alley

The vehicle allotted to you is Zusume R and you must go through 14 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

Here’s the rewards distribution:

  • 30 seconds on the clock – $3,000
  • 20 seconds on the clock – $2,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $1,000

You need to keep an eye out for stairs near Checkpoint #8 as you can easily crash into them. Checkpoint #11 and Checkpoint #12 are both sharp-turns.

Try and make good use of your handbrake.

Misguided
Location: North Loop (The Loop)

The vehicle allotted to you is Sunrim and you must go through 19 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

The rewards distribution is provided below:

  • 35 seconds on the clock – $3,000
  • 20 seconds on the clock – $2,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $1,000

You need to keep an eye out for pedestrians between Checkpoint #3 and Checkpoint #4, hitting them will add to your negative reputation. Don’t jump through the bridge (if it’s up) and pass it slowly.

You will encounter loads of cars after exiting Parking Lot at Checkpoint #8. Letting go of accelerator is the key to clearing out the final section.

Deception
Location: St. Valentine’s Day Massacre (Mad Mile)

The vehicle allotted to you is Kodachi and you must go through 24 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

The reward distribution for this mission are:

  • 40 seconds on the clock – $6,000
  • 30 seconds on the clock – $5,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $4,000

You need to know that you shouldn’t spend much time in the air since it’s a dead-cause. Slow down at the ramps so as to save some time. Checkpoint #18 is at the base of the steps which can be missed at high speeds so bear that in mind!

Wild Ride
Location: A Garage on East Side (Mad Mile)

The vehicle allotted to you is Core-T and you must go through 24 Checkpoints to complete this mission.

The reward distribution for this mission are:

  • 30 seconds on the clock – $6,000
  • 20 seconds on the clock – $5,000
  • 00 seconds on the clock – $4,000

The first couple of Checkpoints are fairly straightforward. Checkpoint #8 is sharp-turn and you need to stay on the left side near Checkpoint #9.

Checkpoint #21 is inside a narrow alley which can be missed at high speeds. The rest of the track is quite straightforward to complete.

Getaway Contracts

These contracts are similar to Decoy Contracts in the sense that you need to grab a vehicle from designated location followed by escaping the cops or some gangbangers.

This is not it! Once you’ve successfully shaken off the cops/gangbangers, you need to get to a Drop Location without being seen. Doing so successfully completes the mission.

For each mission, you will be provided with a vehicle. You can use many of your hacking techniques and Jam_Coms/Blackouts to evade your pursuers.

Quickly evading your pursuers and reaching the Drop Zone results in higher rewards.

Deliverance
Location: Abandoned Station (Pawnee)

The vehicle allotted to you is Kuruhawa 450 and you must escape The Club within 03:00 for the best reward.

Since you’re on bike, you can easily use ramp-jumps and off-road tracks to your absolute advantage. You will also come across a bunch of Steam Pipes and other hackable objects for your convenience. Try and stay in the same location instead of roaming to farther areas for better time-efficiency!

Scenic Retreat
Location: Blume Facility (Pawnee)

The vehicle allotted to you is 550s and you must escape The Cops within 03:00 for the best reward.

Your best bet for completing this mission with the best reward is bridge on the south side. You will come across a bunch of narrow alleyways and off-road areas which will put you on a huge advantage.

The bridge, I mentioned earlier, will make sure that you lose most of your pursuers after the jump. However, you need to watch your speed as you can crash in it.

Under Construction
Location: Strip Mall (Parker Square)

The vehicle allotted to you is Papavero and you must escape The Cops within 03:00 for the best reward.

This central city area is literally swarming with Blockers that you can use to your advantage. Furthermore, you will come across a whole maze of narrow alleyways which will ensure your escape.

Don’t try and be a good citizen and drive off-road for a quick escape!

Members Only
Location: Bedbug’s Alley (The Wards)

The vehicle allotted to you is Sonarus LX and you must escape The Club within 03:00 for the best reward.

Sonarus LX has pretty decent top-speed and acceleration which you can use to your advantage on highway nearby. Blockers, Steam Pipes, and Traffic Lights will ensure that you escape quicker than you expected!

The Club drivers won’t be able to catch you over the bridges which is another thing you can use to your advantage. Drive like a maniac both on-road and off-road and you shall succeed in no time.

In the Spotlight
Location: East Docks Peninsula (Brandon Docks)

The vehicle allotted to you is Vesoud HMI and you must escape The Cops within 03:00 for the best reward.

You will come across a gate on the left side of the railway tracks which you can close to block all the cop cars. This will leave you with nothing, but a chopper which you hinder useless using Jam-Com.

If you don’t wish to opt for this area, there are plenty of Steam Pipes and Blockers on road adjacent to railway tracks.

Pickup and Run
Location: Tidis Industrial Warehouse (Brandon Docks)

The vehicle allotted to you is Tributary 3500 and you must escape The Club within 03:00 for the best reward.

Although you cannot go through narrow alleyways using this giant of a vehicle, you can easily ram your pursuers. The best tactic that you can use is driving on-road and off-road.

You will also come across a bunch of Steam Pipes and Blockers near the railway track which will help you plan your escape.

Armored Pursuit
Location: North Traffic Tunnel (The Loop)

The vehicle allotted to you is Convoy and you must escape The Club within 03:00 for the best reward.

As soon as the mission starts, raise the bridge to shake off a couple of your pursuers. Although your vehicle doesn’t have a good top-speed and acceleration, you can ram any vehicle trying to get past you.

There are a couple of garages that you need to familiarize yourself with which can play a key role in your escape. Furthermore, Steam Pipes and Blockers are always there to get you out of tight situations.

Playing it Safe
Location: St. Jude Police League (The Loop)

The vehicle allotted to you is Vespid 5.2 and you must escape The Cops within 03:00 for the best reward.

The area in which this pursuit takes place have loads of bollards that you can use to shake off ground units. As for the Chopper tailing you, you should try and drive under the L-Train track to render it useless.

The Loop also has a wide arsenal of alleyway that can be used to escape. Furthermore, trapping cops inside garages can also help.

Tracked
Location: Rail Yard (The Loop)

The vehicle allotted to you is Police Squad Car and you must escape The Cops within 03:00 for the best reward.

During this mission, you’ll notice that your car has a tracker that is being deactivated. Therefore, ramming the accelerator and reaching the top-speed is totally out of question.

In addition to that, you will also have a Chopper tailing you. Therefore, it is a good idea to get out of your vehicle, shoot down the Chopper, and continue your pursuit.

You need to utilize all the alleyways, Blockers, Steam Pipes, and everything at your disposal to emerge as victorious in this one.

Escape Artist
Location: Taylor Parking Lot (Mad Mile)

The vehicle allotted to you is Sayonara and you must escape The Cops within 03:00 for the best reward.

Just as the mission starts, ram that accelerator and aim at landing directly at the L-Train tracks. Doing so successfully will ensure that you are being chased by no one, but only a chopper.

However, you need to keep an eye out on trains coming from both sides. Just keep on following the L-Train tracks and you will shake cops off in good time. Get towards the Drop Zone and complete this mission.

Interception Contracts

Interception Contracts basically revolve around tailing a provided target followed by taking him out for data. Just as the mission begins, you will see the route of your target on your mini-map.

There are two options to approach this: either hack the data and take out the target or take out the target followed by hacking the data.

It’s recommended that you use latter option for higher rewards. Furthermore, sometimes you’ll have to hack a vehicle GPS and sometimes, you’ll have to hack the individual.

Your targets will often call reinforcements so bear that in mind! A good thing about these missions is that your target will always take a similar route which will provide you with enough time to get familiarized with route.

As for taking out these vehicles, you can take any approach that suits your playstyle.

The Hunter
Location: Southwest Parker Square (Parker Square)

The vehicle provided to you is Rotor and you must take out 1 Gunman within 01:30 for the best reward.

This target is pretty simple to take out since he doesn’t have any reinforcements to back him up. Just as the mission starts, you will notice that your targets heads into narrow alleyway near a Construction Site.

This is where you need to hit and crash his car. Even if you cannot do this, bring out any weapon and start shooting through windscreen.

Road Soldier
Location: East Parker Square (Parker Square)

The vehicle provided to you is Vespid 5.2 and you must take out 1 Veteran soldier within 02:30 for the best reward.

Inclusion of reinforcements make this mission somewhat difficult than the last one. Anyway, as soon as your target heads up on the dirt path, you’ll see that his car will skid a lot giving you a perfect chance to ram him at sideways.

Since there are no areas for any cover in this area, it’s better to leave the area instead of killing your pursuers.

Hard Shoulder
Location: Warehouse Grounds (The Wards)

The vehicle provided to you is Hailkal R and you must take out 1 Gunman within 01:40 for the best reward.

For taking out this target, I usually prefer driving around a bit. You’ll note that that your target will head inside different narrow alleyways before coming back on the main road.

Just keep on following him and as soon as he drives back on the main street, keep an eye out on a Steam Pipe directly in front of you.

One Steam Pipe is more than sufficient to take him out. Instead of dealing with reinforcements, try and get away.

Connection Interrupted
Location: Dirt Ground (The Wards)

The vehicle provided to you is Boxberg LE and you must take out an Enforcer within 03:30 for the best reward.

Although your target is an Enforcer along with another vehicle, this is not hard, provided you make good use of your hacks and surroundings. While on the main road, you’ll come across two bridges that can be raised to hinder your target’s progression.

These two bridges are perfect for launching your attack. However, if you fail to do so, you’ll come across a couple of Blockers near the dirt mound area which should be more than enough to take the vehicle out.

As for taking down the Enforcer, I would highly recommend Enforcer Takedown Skill. Once you’ve done that, hack the data and leave the area.

Bandwidth Exceeded
Location: Industrial Docks (Brandon Docks)

The vehicle provided to you is Core-T and you must take out an Enforcer and one Veteran within 03:15 for the best reward.

Taking out the first enemy is a piece of cake! You’ll see him going through a bridge which you can raise to hinder his progress. However, if you cannot do it, your target will soon enter a railway yard. At this moment, you can shutdown the gates and trap him inside for an easy win.

As for the second target, he’ll pass through a couple of Blockers at high-speed which is ideal for a slow-motion takedown. Once again, if you cannot do it, just keep going straight and trap him inside the gates Industrial Yards like the first one.

Derailed
Location: Pharmingtons (Brandon Docks)

The vehicle provided to you is Tributary 3500 and you must take out a Gunman within 02:00 for the best reward.

This mission requires patience and offensive driving skills. Just keep on tailing your target until you see him near a river.

You need to make good use of your heavy vehicle and push him into the water (Don’t worry; your data will be there). Throughout this area, you’ll come across a bunch of opportunities for pushing him into water, don’t lose hope!

Muscle Out
Location: Racine Marina (Brandon Docks)

The vehicle provided to you is Carrozza and you must take out a Veteran soldier within 03:00 for the best reward.

You can end this chase as soon as it begins provided you don’t miss the perfect opportunities. Just keep on tailing him and you’ll see that he’ll enter a Construction Yard.

However, soon after entering this area, he’ll reverse to get back on the main road. The place from where he reverses his car has a couple of gas canisters which can be shot at to bring him down.

Buffering
Location: Marina (The Loop)

The vehicle provided to you is Speedboat/Carrozza and you must take out a Gunman and a Veteran within 05:40 for the best reward.

The first target can be really frustrating since you’re required to chase your target in a Speedboat and there aren’t any opportunities for shutting him down.

There are around four bridges (with pillars) on your target’s route. You can try and ram your targets into these pillars. Furthermore, you’ll come across a bridge near the end of the track which you’d be able to hack to bring your target down.

After dealing with the first target, get off the boat and head towards east side into a Coffee Shop. Grab a vehicle and driving to your second target’s location.

Taking this route will ensure that you come directly in front of your target’s car. Get a head-on collision and do rest of the damage with any weapon of your choice.

If you still are unable to do it, then keep on tailing him till the end where a whole plethora of Steam Pipes and Blockers will be waiting for you.

Data Leech
Location: Central Loop (The Loop)

The vehicle provided to you is Sunrise and you must take out a Gunman within 01:30 for the best reward.

There are a couple of spots for bringing him down throughout his route. L-Train pillars at the beginning of the chase can be used to bring him to a halt.

Other than this, as soon as he comes out of underground tunnel, he’ll enter a narrow alley with Blockers at both ends. These Blockers can be used to bring him to an end.

Deadly Loop
Location: L-Train Junction (The Loop)

The vehicle provided to you is Rotor and you must take out two Gunmen within 02:40 for the best reward.

The most annoying part of this chase is that both of the targets move together (in two different cars). However, we can use thing to our advantage.

After the chase begins, both targeted vehicles will enter a narrow alleyway with Blockers at one side and a Power Transformer at the other side.

You need to block both of these vehicles at the Blocker and draw out your Grenade Launcher. Only a single shot would suffice in taking out both vehicles.

Double Vision
Location: North Loop (The Loop)

The vehicle provided to you is Snoarus LX and you must take out two Veterans within 03:30 for the best reward.

For taking out the first target, there are plenty of opportunities in The Wards. You’ll see a Steam Pipe near the Gun Store which is all you need to take him out.

As for the second target, this chase begins with a Steam Pipe lying right in front of you (Near a Food signboard).

Number Crunch
Location: St. Jude’s Police Station (The Loop)

The vehicle provided to you is Zusume R and you must take out a Gunman within 02:00 for the best reward.

The best opportunity to take this target out is under L-Train tracks near the ctOS Construction Site Park. You’ll see a Steam Pipe along the way which can be used to bring your target to a halt.

Rouge Data
Location: Southwest Loop (The Loop)

The vehicle provided to you is Papavero and you must take out your target within 01:30 for the best reward.

Your target will be in a fast car so you need to put in all your effort to keep him in sight. And since he’ll in a fast car, the Blockers will do excessive amount of damage, provided that you raise them at perfect time.

You’ll come across a set of Blockers immediately after the first right turn which you need to raise to end this chase early.

Transporter Contracts

These missions are simple delivery missions which require you to take a vehicle from certain location and then delivering it to drop-zone.

However, there are certain things which you need to consider. You’ll have specific allotted and you must deliver the vehicle within this time slot.

After entering the vehicle, a Damage Meter will appear on top-left of your screen. This meter indicates how much damage your vehicle can sustain before it becomes useless. Rest assured, the damage doesn’t effect your rewards in anyway unless it’s completely useless.

You won’t be chased by any gangbangers or police until you hit a pedestrian. Hence, these missions are easiest of all. You’ll have every information on your mini-map and it solely depends on your driving skills to complete these missions.

There are a total of 10 Transporter Contracts offering a wide arsenal of vehicles (bikes, cars, and speedboats) to deliver. You need to complete all of these missions (with any medal) for 100% game completion and completing all Fixer Contracts.
