Vampyr from Dontnod has finally gone gold. This was confirmed by the studio on Twitter meaning that the game is ready to be released to the public on June 5 and we can start playing with Dr. Jonathan Reid and choose to be good or bad as we like.
If you don’t know what gone gold means, it means the game has gone through the final version and is good enough to be shipped to stores. In other simple words, the game has gone through the development phase and ready to be sold.
This gone gold term also means Vampyr won’t be delayed like it previously got in 2017. We can’t wait to get our hands on the game and looks so special. After getting recent trailers we have got to know more about the game,
The recent trailer showed us brutal combat and gameplay of the game. The video showed us Dr. Jonathan Reid, the main protagonist who recently turned into a vampire. The video shows more of the gameplay as he’s seen feeding on civilians after getting beaten up making a hard choice to choose their blood to feed on, then power up and get his vampiric abilities restored.
Vampyr will not feature any DLC in case you are wondering and it’ll be a success if it manages to sell 1 million units.
The game looks quite interesting and different from the titles we have seen in the past and to run it you’ll need a reasonable PC.
If you are like me and want to run the game at 4K 60 FPS then you’ll need these system requirements:
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
- CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K (3.2 GHz)/AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (3.2 GHz)
- RAM: 16GB
- Hard Disk Space: 20GB
- OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64 bits)
Vampyr will release on June 5, 2018, for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
