Turn 10 is Hiring Multiple Professionals for Forza Motorsport 8

Turn 10 is recruiting for a new Forza Motorsport game. Is an announcement coming from Microsoft in the months to come? A Luanch title for Xbox Scarlett?

It doesn’t come as a surprise that there will be a new Forza Motorsport game coming in 2020. Much like many other series like NBA 2K and FIFA, Forza too gets a yearly release (mostly). Now, the studio is open to career applications, on almost all segments of development.

If Forza Motorsport 2020 is in development, then it is still in the early stages if the listings are to be believed. Turn 10 is looking for employees to fill positions within the studio, from technical artists to software engineers. Here’s a list of all openings regarding Forza 2020:

  • Software Engineer
  • Environment Artist (Biome)
  • Technical Artist
  • Data Engineer
  • Lighting Artist
  • Marketing Manager
  • Procedural Technical Artist
  • Partner Manager

Some of the openings mentioned above are linear within a company, some of them though do have some interest. Seeing Turn 10 aggressively searching for a biome artist means that the studio doesn’t settle for what they already have. Furthermore, a lighting artist along with the procedural technical artist will be populating the world of Forza Motorsport 2020, to an even bigger state than last year with Forza Horizon 4.

For Microsoft to be looking for such a big number of specialists for a sole title, it means that the new Forza Motorsport game must be their Focus right now. Xbox is making a huge turn in popularity after the release of Gears 5. In addition, the installment of even more great games on Xbox Game Pass has created more opportunities for first-party releases.

With Halo Infinite, Ori and the Order of the Wisps and Fable 4 on their way to “light”, it’s the perfect time for the company to shift their focus on more stable franchises. Forza is one of them since it generates revenue on a steady basis. And like Xbox One, we could also see Forza Motorsport 8 to be a launch title for Xbox Scarlett.

If you’re an expert in any of the fields mentioned above or want to try your luck in an AAA working environment, you can check out the open Turn 10 listings on LinkedIn. Consequently, the announcement of Forza Motorsport 8 (if that is what its name will be) is not going to be anytime soon. For now, we have to settle for its predecessor until the time comes.

Always looking for a deep story, empathetic characters, and a great soundtrack in video games. Hardcore game hoarder and a strong believer that one day Xbox will win the console war.
