Red Dead Redemption 2 might not be coming out this year but, fans are still excited about the game. While fans are not happy with the game’s delay but Ubisoft is definitely happy about it. However, the game has only been confirmed for current gen consoles and PC gamers are looking at Rockstar Games to spill the beans about the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2.

During the recent earnings call, Take-Two president Karl Slatoff discussed the PC market in general. While the company thinks that PC market is a core and a vibrant market for the company but, the company won’t say if Red Dead Redemption 2 will come to PC or not.

It really depends on the title. Some titles are actually heavily weighted to PC, for example, Civilization and XCOM, [but] some titles are less weighted to PC. The great news is that the PC market is vibrant for us. It’s a great market. It’s a big market. It’s a core market.

These are consumers who are highly engaged. It’s a predominantly digital market, which also removes friction in terms of ongoing engagement with the consumer. So for us, the PC market as a company is very important, very exciting, and something we focus on.

When asked if Red Dead Redemption 2 would come to PC or not, Slatoff replied that we will have to wait for Rockstar to make such announcement. “Any updates about any of our titles will come from our labels”.

Red Dead Redemption 2 comes from Rockstar Games following the success of GTA V, however, Take-Two doesn’t expect it to be as successful as GTA V. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick revealed that the company does not expect the upcoming Red Dead Redemption sequel to be on the same level as GTA V.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world western action adventure game in development at Rockstar Games and is scheduled to launch in early 2018.
