Back in April we had reported on a leak that revealed two iconic players from Fire Emblem and Street Fighter series would be making their way to Super Smash Bros sometime later.
The two characters in question were Ryu from Street Fighter and Roy from Fire Emblem. Both of them are probably the most famous characters of their respective games which is why it was a pretty big news – except that we didn’t have much evidence to support the claim.
Now, however, things have changed. Two videos have surfaced online on YouTube that were allegedly found in the patch code of Super Smash Bros.
As you can see above and below, the videos all but confirm that Ryu and Roy are actually going to make it to the game.
They are short teasers that only last nine seconds each and this suggests maybe Nintendo is planning on releasing the videos at the gaming mega event that is coming our way in a day’s time.
Do keep in mind that the source of the news is not official, and so we are keeping an eye out for fakes. Check out the two iconic characters in action in Super Smash Bros and tell us what you think.
