Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director, Masahiro Sakura has announced that the DLC characters list is already complete. Masahiro Sakura who’s the creator of the series took it to Twitter to confirm the completion of DLC roster.
He mentioned that this lineup of characters was all made entirely by Nintendo themselves and explained the process by saying “I decide if we can create a fighter based on their selection, then come up with the plan.”
He then Tweeted again to guide the fans to please stay on topic while commenting. He wants the fans to stop flooding the developers with character requests. Which seems like a hard thing to do as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate consists of a huge roster including every previous character in the game.
This also means that the character requests won’t be looked into anymore as the team has already decided them.
Players of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will receive 5 post-launch DLC characters. Each of them will come with their own music track and a stage. Though we don’t know about any one of these post DLC characters yet.
Each character bundle is going to cost you $5. There’s going to be a total of 5 character bundles and if you are interested, you can get a fighter pass which brings all characters, stages, and music for just $24.99. All of these characters will be released before February 2020 so grab it early as possible.
Other than that, the game is expected to support up to 32 players online. This news appeared on distributing pamphlets from Japanese retailers. We are not expecting this to be the total number of players in a single mode but instead in a tournament. Modes of the game are not detailed yet so take this all with a grain of salt.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate leaks are very common and recently we saw the limited edition of the game. It showed us that Switch will have Super Smash Bros. characters on it. The full game will be downloaded on the console so you don’t have to waste any time and start playing it straight out of the box.
