According to their report, reveal at an Apple press event was a really important step in terms of marketing. The partnership between Nintendo and Apple seems very strong, as Super Mario Run has been advertised on the Store with multiple banners, being one of the most promoted game ever.
Moreover, this game will be released accross 151 countries and, even if it’s a paid app, the cost is not something that will affect the sales. The Holiday Season is also the best release windows for a mobile game like that.
So, the odds are good and Super Mario Run has everything that is needed to be a success even greater than Pokémon GO.
Mario is a famous franchise worldwide and it’s not a secret that Phil Spencer would love to play it on Xbox One.
Here’s what he said during a recent interview with AusGamers.
I’d really love to see Mario on Xbox. I’ve been in this industry and played games for a long time, but I’ll still say it: Nintendo has the strongest first-party of anybody. They’re just incredible and the memories they have instilled in so many of us, who’ve played their games and had those delightful experiences, having those on Xbox would be great. Obviously we have Minecraft on Nintendo and we were excited to be able to work with a company like Nintendo. As the time goes by, we are building an even stronger relationship.
What do you think about this question? Would be good for you to play Mario games on consoles?
