Steven Ogg Has No Idea About Grand Theft Auto 6, “Actors Are The Last To Know”

Steven Ogg, the voice actor for Trevor in Grand Theft Auto 5, has no idea of whether a Grand Theft Auto 6 is being worked on, as actors are the last to know

Considering that Grand Theft Auto 5 is one of the biggest games that’s currently out there, it’s no surprise that there are still fans that are clamoring for any sort of news related to Grand Theft Auto 6. However, Steven Ogg, the voice actor for Trevor, has no idea about GTA 6.

There’ve been a number of hints and little tidbits of information about Grand Theft Auto 6, ranging from information that the game could be set in Tokyo (which hasn’t been proven) or that a stuntman’s resume confirmed that it was being worked on (the resume was soon proven to be false). however, there hasn’t been anything concrete yet.

The last two Grand Theft Auto games, Grand Theft Auto 4 and Grand Theft Auto 5, came out in 2008 and 2013, respectively, a gap of five years. Grand Theft Auto 4 came out four years after Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which came out in 2004.

Steven Ogg, howver, is the wrong person to ask if you were hoping that he might know more about any new Grand Theft Auto game. According to him, actors are the last sorts of people to know about anything like that; considering that most development in a game goes into things like the physics, the art, the environments, and mechanics way before the actors are cast to do anything, he’s not that wrong.

Either way, if you want to know when Grand Theft Auto 6 will be getting worked on, you might have better luck trying to weasel it out of a Rockstar employee instead of Steven Ogg, and even then you might not get anything; the studio is currently busy working on Red Dead Redemption 2, not to mention any other games they might put out between now and the next GTA game.

In the meantime, all we can do is wait for any sort of information about it, which may be years in the making.
