After reaching the Ilum Jedi Temple, you’ll encounter a door that is being blocked by a solid block of ice. You need to find some way to melt this before you can proceed and you can do this with the help of a hanging crystal.
There is a Light-Enhancing Crystal hanging over the pit. This can be used to focus light and heat on a specific spot and there melt the ice on the door. You can’t move it with force pull so you have to grab the rope with your hands.
Head to the ledge on the right, and use force pull to move the top part of the arch that is beneath you until it’s facing you. Then head back and open the window of the Illum Temple to tie it with the anchor.
Now you can Force pull the rope attached to the crystal, and grab it. You can aim the light on the block of ice across the room by moving the crystal. Simply run to your tight with the rope to make this happen and then close the window.
Push the anchor to the other end of the cavern and then swing across to tie the crystal to it. Once this is done, Force push the anchor back to its original spot and the Crystal will move with it.
Head back to the entrance via the tunnel on the side, and then get the window opposite the ice block open. This will make the crystal reflect the light at the target to melt it down.
