Kylo Ren uses his Lightsaber and he can deflect attacks. This is very useful as you will not be able to fight against ranged enemies otherwise. He also has various other mechanisms to face off against ranged enemies such as his first ability which is Force Pull.
Force Pull allows Kylo to pull his enemies towards him so he can attack them. This is perfect as a gap closer to other ranged heroes. Ranged heroes are also generally weaker in melee combat so if you manage to land this move, chances are you will win the fight.
His second ability is Frenzy which allows Kylo to not only leap towards enemies but also follow it up with a little bit of damage by the Crossguard. His final ability is Force Freeze which will freeze the enemies in your line of sight.
