Spiderman PS4 Kicks Off A New Era for Marvel Games, Iron Man Anyone?

Bill Roseman, Marvel Games' executive director says that the success of Spiderman PS4 kicks of a new era for Marvel games.

Spiderman PS4 has been released and it has taken over all the charts by declaring itself as one of the best superhero games but what’s interesting to know is the possibility of future Marvel games which according to the director of the game has begun.

After the success of Spiderman PS4, Bill Roseman, Marvel Games’ executive director took it to Twitter to say that the success of the game “kicks off a new era for Marvel console games.”

Creative director at Insomniac, Roseman referred to a video from GameSpot by saying:

“One of my fave parts of this video is when [Bryan] talks about how Marvel’s Spider-Man is intended as ‘the Iron Man of Marvel video games,’ which is exactly how we view it. As with that first MCU hit, [Marvel’s Spider-Man] kicks off a new era for Marvel console games.”

In that interview, Bryan Intihar said:

”the funny thing that Marvel and I talk a lot about, is this is the Iron Man, this is the one that’s going to start it off”

So this all means that we could see more superhero games in the future and what could be a better way than making an Iron Man game which has been making rounds on the internet.

If that’s not enough, there’s possibly a Tony Stark reference in the game which is found in the opening scene of the game and on a note which reminds to respond to a job offer from “T.S” which is none other than Tony Stark we think.

Now it already links the in-game worlds with Iron Man which makes it a possibility for upcoming Marvel game by Insomniac Games. Avenger Tower already does exist in the game along with Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Santorum so the possibilities are endless.

Well when it comes to an Avengers game, Avengers Project can’t be left unseen which is in works and was announced by Square Enix last year. The latest we heard was that Crystal Dynamics have created a new studio completely dedicated to work on the Avengers Project.

Spiderman PS4 has already sold over 3.3 Million copies and will be getting more updates as it’s just the beginning.
