Spider-man is one of the biggest games scheduled to release this year by the developers Insomniac games, who are previously known for Ratchet and Clank. This Spiderman is not like any previous games because it lets you take control of everything including the weather.
Spider-man is a PS4 exclusive game and the game is set in an open world environment. The game already looks better than any previous Spiderman games. Previously it was said the game will not have dynamic weather but now it has been confirmed after Insomniac games had an interview with gameinformer in which they answered various questions about the game.
The game director Bryan Intihar answered the question:
“The truth is, this is a very story heavy game, and as you guys know a lot of great games use time of day to communicate a certain feel/vibe to the situation [depending] where you are in the story, so we want to make sure that we were communicating a certain feeling to the player while they were first making their way through the main story. That being said, when you do finish the game you can actually change the time of day and weather yourself manually.”
It’s a nice feature that will let you change your weather according to your mood and will allow players to be more involved in the game.
Insomnia has confirmed that it will be bigger than any of their previous games like Sunset overdrive and it will never come to Xbox.
Spiderman is not an origin story of Peter Parker and the story is mature and different from previous games, Peter is still a fun character with ESFP personality.
Art director Jacinda Chew said Pete is “outgoing, friendly, and accepting. Enjoy working with others to make things happen. Bring common sense and a realistic approach to their work, and make work fun. Flexible and spontaneous, adapt readily to new people/environments.”
Spiderman will be releasing on September 7 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
