Originally released for PS3 and Xbox 360, the Silent Hill Collection is listed for PS4 as a PSN game in South America (Peru). Fans speculate that not Silent Hills HD Collection is getting an official release on PS4 but Sony may be expanding PS Now to South America.

Silent Hill HD Collection featured Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 with a minor jump in visual fidelity. While the collection wasn’t received as well as Konami may have hoped, things may be different on PS4.

At this point, it is unclear if the developers are going to further enhance its visuals for PS4 or if they are just rolling out the same package. Silent Hill HD Collection is yet to be confirmed by Sony and Konami.

Sadly, this is probably the only way for us to experience Silent Hill. Hideo Kojima has left the company after the cancelation of Silent Hills. The Norman Reedus starring Silent Hills got canceled suddenly while Kojima formed his own studio to create Death Stranding. The project is the result of a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment.

And some, to this day, think Death Stranding is actually Silent Hills in disguise. One theory suggests Sony bought the rights to Silent Hill from Konami and created a reboot of the franchise, Death Stranding.

Death Stranding will appear at the Game Awards 2018 and for those rooting for Death Stranding = Silent Hills theory, the show will bring news. The game received a new trailer recently which you can check out for hints and details of things to come.

Death Stranding is releasing on PS4 and PS4 Pro within the next two years.
