Shannon Loftis: Xbox Exclusives Line-Up Is Strong, More Unannounced Exclusives Are In The Works

Xbox One X is just a day from launch and almost every time when the console is being discussed many have commented that what is the point of the 4K console which has very few exclusives. However, Shannon Loftis has come forwards and defended Xbox exclusives.

Xbox Executive, Shannon Loftis, defended the Xbox exclusives saying that the line-up is going strong. She added that Microsoft is not going to stop there as there are a lot of Xbox exclusives in the works, exclusives that the company is not even talking about now.

I think our offering is good and it is solid. I definitely hear that gamers want more. Would we love to have two-dozen more super-strong, absolutely exclusives? You bet.

We do have more coming; more that are in the works that we’re not talking about now. But I feel good about what we have to offer for the launch [of Xbox One X].

She also touched the subject of Xbox exclusives that are also available for PC. She noted that offering games for both PC and Xbox is not a bad thing and don’t see any harm from it especially when a multiplayer game is made available on both platforms.

Regarding [Xbox Play Anywhere] and games being available on PC, I may be out in left field but I do not see how offering games on more platforms to more gamers is a bad thing necessarily, particularly in a multiplayer scenario,

The upcoming line-up for Xbox exclusives include Crackdown 3 which has been delayed till early 2018, PUBG is also coming to Xbox in December is an “Xbox launch exclusive”.

Xbox One X will be available on November 7 and is priced at $499.99 in the US. The console will see enhanced games such as Forza 7, Gears of War 4, Doom, and more.
