Rumor: Devil May Cry 5 May Be Coming At E3 2018, Sony Has Exclusivity

Devil May Cry 5 rumors are going wild right now. The title is going to be at E3 2018 with a release date of somewhere before March 2019.

Devil May Cry 5 may end up at E3 2018 and Sony could be funding the project if a new set of rumors are to be believed. It is being said the game will be shown at Sony’s E3 2018 press conference in partnership with Capcom. Due to the overwhelming success of PS4, it wouldn’t be surprising if there is actually an exclusive deal between the two companies.

It is possible that Sony may not actually have full exclusivity, rather, exclusive marketing rights of Devil May Cry 5. In other Devil May Cry 5 rumors, it was mentioned that the game was going to be present during PlayStation Experience last year but it pushed into 2018.

Sony later scheduled it for E3 2018 where a small demo will be available on the show floor. As we reported earlier, Sony has the biggest show floor at E3 2018.

As far as the release date goes, Devil May Cry 5 release date is somewhere before March of 2019. Keep in mind that none of this information has any official backing so take this with a grain of salt.

In case DMC 5 didn’t go full PS4 exclusive, it will release on Xbox One, Xbox One X, and PC. What would be really interesting is to have the title on the Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, Dante, Nero, and Vergil are all expected to return to Devil May Cry 5.

Would you like to see DMC 5 only on PS4 or should Capcom make the title multi-platform? Do you think it is going to be at E3 2018? Share what you think in the comments below.
