Crystal Dynamics is releasing Rise of the Tomb Raider in just a few days and we will get to take Lara on her next adventure.

The name Rise of the Tomb Raider is very appealing, it sounds good but it has a meaning behind it as well. Crystal Dynamics has explained why they used “Rise of the Tomb Raider” and the explanation makes perfect sense.

Lara’s journey will transform her from the curious young adventurer to the fierce Tomb Raider we have all come to know. This is exactly the reason why Crustal Dynamics choose to use the name Rise of the Tomb Raider. It fits the narrative and sums things up nicely.

The word “Rise” is symbolic of the journey from the first game to the peak of her abilities, Noah Hughes said. The game is coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10, be sure to pick it up see the “Rise” of our favorite Tomb Raider.
