Resident Evil 7 Boss Battles Guide to help you defeat all the bosses in the game who certainly do not go down without a fight.
There are not quite a lot of bosses in Resident Evil 7 Biohazard but they do not go down without a fight. Almost all the bosses that you encounter in the game make multiple appearances.

Resident Evil 7 Boss Battles Guide
Moreover, most of the boss battles in the game require you to check your surroundings for items, weapons, and other tools that help you get rid of the bosses. A general tip that you need to keep in mind for every boss battle is to maintain a safe distance and to be stocked on ammunition.
In our Resident Evil 7 Boss Battles Guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about defeating all the bosses in the game.
Mia Boss Battles
Guest House Study
Your first encounter with Mia is not incredibly difficult and is meant to get your grasp the game’s combat mechanics. Since the first encounter is pure hand-to-hand, you need to stay as close to Mia as possible.
The reason behind this is to bait her attacks and block them. The entire boss battle essentially revolves around blocking Mia’s attacks, landing your own, and repeating. After a short while, you should come out as victorious.
Attic
Before you engage in this section of the fight, you need to make sure that you have acquired the handgun from the table and have sufficient ammo to back you up. Once you have collected everything, you need to head to the attic in order to start the fight.
During the second encounter, Mia wields a chainsaw which can easily rip your apart if you are not careful enough. At this point, what you basically need to do is to put some distance between her and you.
In order to do so, quickly head down the ladder and avoid direct contact with her. While wielding the chainsaw, Mia will have reduced speed but it is better not to take any chances because she can quickly pounce on you.
In addition to this, it is also a good idea to put some objects in her path. By doing so, you will force her to destroy the objects before getting to you. This should give you ample time to maintain some distance and even land some well-placed headshots.
Coming to Mia’s weak points, you should always go for the headshots because they will allow you to stun her much quicker and end the battle. Body shots, on the other hand, take a whole lot longer. Finally, as mentioned earlier, you need to have ample ammo in order to come out as victorious in the battle.
Jack Boss Battles
Garage
The first thing that you need to know is that the car’s keys are located on the workbench near the driver’s door. Your main objective at this point is to get inside the car and run Jack over – a couple of times.
However, doing so is not as easy as it sounds. If you simply rush towards the driver’s door, Jack will pull you out and make you regret your decision. In order to prevent it, you first need to head to the passenger’s door and score a couple of headshots to stun Jack.
Once you have done it, simply rush to the driver’s door and head inside the car to conclude the boss battle.
Butcher Room
After you fall into the pit, try to put some distance between the two of you. While running away, you should easily be able to stun Jack by hitting him with a body. This is the main tactic that you need to master in order to overcome this battle.
Once you manage to stun him, draw your weapon and score a headshot. I recommend scoring headshots because doing so allows you to get rid of this phase in a short duration of time. You basically need to stick to this strategy until you see Jack running towards a cage.
At this point, you need to follow Jack into the cage and get your hands on a Chainsaw. You need to be extra careful during this phase because of Jack’s increased damage output and additional mobility. Other than this, the overall strategy remains the same.
You basically need to stun him by hitting him with a body, strafe to his sides/back, and take a quick swing. As soon as you see him charging at you with his shears, press the guard button in order to stumble him and leave him open for a counter-attack.
After you have dealt enough damage, he will begin to mutate. At this point, you need to hit the mutation 3-4 times and conclude the boss battle.
Pier Boat House
Before you get to this boss battle, you need to make sure that you have a powerful shotgun equipped. The basic strategy to defeat the mutated Jack is to destroy all the eyes which is something quite easy if you have a shotgun at your disposal.
Continue to pop Jack’s eyes until you drop down. After dropping down to the lower level, continue to hit his regenerating eye before injecting him with the serum and ending the fight for good. It is a good idea to have sufficient ammo at your disposal, but if you ever run out; make sure to break the boxes and find some more.
Marguerite Boss Battles
Old House Appearance
During the Old House battle, Marguerite does not directly participate in the battle. But it does not mean you should take the fight lightly.
After you fall down, Marguerite sends a swarm of insects to deal damage to you. While you can use any weapon at your disposal to get rid of these insects, I have found knives and handguns to be extremely helpful – shotguns are definitely an overkill.
Whenever you get a moment of respite, turn all your attention to Marguerite and try to score as many headshots as possible. Continue to switch the targets from insects to Marguerite and she will eventually fall into the pit.
One last thing that you need to know is not to stand in the fluid on the floor after Marguerite falls down.
Greenhouse Appearance
Before you trigger this boss battle, you should try and have a shotgun, psychostimulant, a ton of ammo, and the burner at your disposal.
Since Marguerite is weak to fire, you need to use the burner to set her on fire as much as possible. Once you have done that, retrieve your shotgun and blast her head with it.
In addition to this, you should also try to maintain a safe distance between the two of you. It goes without saying that she has a lot of HP and deals humungous amount of damage. Better be patient than sorry!
If you were unable to salvage sufficient ammunition prior to the boss battle or if Marguerite absorbed all of them like a sponge she is; use your psychostimulant to find plenty of useful items scattered all across the area.
Lastly, you need to pay a lot of attention to her dialogues and try to avoid doing what she tells you to. It is a good idea to simply run away if she tells you to do anything. Other than this, stick to the strategy mentioned earlier and you should be able to put her down.
Eveline Boss Battles
Guest House Appearance
This is a pretty short boss fight, considering the fact that Eveline can simply insta-kill you. In order to avoid the fate, try to put some distance between the two of you.
Try to create some gap between the two of you and score as many headshots as possible. If you are lucky and have a decent aim, you should be able to take her down. Otherwise, strafe and try to get in range of Eveline.
Yard Appearance
During this boss battle, all you need to do is to aim for her head and begin shooting. Since you cannot move, try to score as many headshots as possible. Eveline will, occasionally, shield herself using her hands – there is no point in shooting her while she is blocking.
As soon as you see her dropping her guard, go crazy and remember; always aim for the head. After a little while, you will find a handgun and a call; telling you how to end the nightmare for good.
