Report: Number of The Division Missions at Launch is 26

The Division will have 26 missions at release, however, Ubisoft will support the game with free post-release content across all platforms.

According to some leaked information, number of The Division missions at launch is only be 26 . The information came from a leak on Reddit where a user data mined some of the beta files of the game.

26 Missions seem adequate, considering that Ubisoft will keep supporting the game via free content updates post-release. The Division is being considered by many as a Destiny killer, and if Ubisoft decided to properly support the game without milking it with expansion after expansion, it may actually manage to kill Bungie’s shooter.

You can head over here to download a notepad document to see the names of these missions.

According to the person who datamined this information, it took 21 hours of grinding to find this information. The number of missions wasn’t the only thing he found, there is a story script, missions in Brooklyn, and names for some new weapons:

  • Caduceus
  • Historian
  • Damascus
  • Pakhan
  • Liberator
  • Warlord
  • Valkyria
  • Midas
  • Medved
  • Defiler
  • Cassidy

The Division will release on March 8 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

On a related note, Ubisoft recently shared a couple of videos explaining how society as we know it fell in The Division. The videos question our GOVT’s capabilities of handling such situations.
