According to a new report, Borderlands 3 is not going to appear at E3 2018. Apparently, Gearbox discussed the game behind closed doors and announced to a set of journalists that the game is not at E3 this year.
Interestingly, Gearbox will be showing off other projects during E3 2018 since we already know that the developer is scheduled to appear. It is an odd report and hard to believe at this point due to a recent Walmart leak. The retailer leaked some of the biggest announcements from E3 2018 and one of them was Borderlands 3.
The lineup also included RAGE 2 which was later confirmed by id Software. This gave credibility to the leak and we were hoping that other leaked titles would also be announced soon. The list included the long-awaited Splinter Cell, Gears of War 5, Forza Horizon, and LEGO DC Villains.
The report is unconfirmed so there are still chances of Borderlands 3 appearing at E3. Speaking of E3, here is the full schedule for the event.

Over the past few days leaks have become a norm and not only did we see Walmart leak these games, we also saw Sony’s entire E3 2018 games lineup, parts of which have now been confirmed by Sony. Four major games include Death Stranding, Spiderman, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us 2.
