Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most anticipated games of 2018 and it’s also predicted that the game will do really well in the market. Take-Two believes that it’s one of the best games they have ever made without a shadow of doubt and recently GameStop claimed the same about the game.
GameStop is one of the biggest retailers where you can buy everything you want from inside the gaming world. Their opinion really matters and recently VP of the Merchandising division at GameStop, Eric Bright said that he believes that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be the best selling game of 2018 and it certainly looks like it.
Bright recently did an interview in which he said:
“Red Dead is going to be a top game of the year, hands down,” Bright said. “We had an exclusive Red Dead Collector’s Edition that we put up for pre-order and it sold out in a day and a half. I mean, absolutely phenomenal interest in that game. It’s Rockstar. Rockstar make great games.”
Bright clearly trusts the developers behind the game which is none other than Rockstar. He also mentioned how quickly they sold out the Red Dead Collector’s Edition in a day and what’s interesting to know is that there’s no game disc included in the collector’s edition.
Take-Two recently said that Red Dead Redemption 2 will make records and it’s the reason some games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Black Ops 4 are being released earlier than their previous release dates.
It’s obvious that Red Dead Redemption 2 will not overcome the success of Grand Theft Auto 5 which is the most profitable entertainment product ever and is about to reach 100 million units.
