Red Dead Redemption 2 Physical Copies Delayed to November

You should get in touch with your local store to confirm availability of Red Dead Redemption 2 physical copies if you are not in the digital copy.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is what people are talking about right now and it would not be surprising if the Red Dead Redemption 2 physical copies are all sold out at launch. People that have pre-ordered the game are now reporting that they are unable to get the game at launch.

One user reported that he has been using GameFly services for 7 years and has never got a game after the release date. Red Dead Redemption 2 physical copies are the only exception here. He reported that the sales representative told him that the game would be shipped on 7th of November which is days after the game has officially released.

You should get in touch with your local store to confirm when you will be able to get Red Dead Redemption 2 physical copies if you are not interested in buying the digital copy. The following is the response from GameFly:

Red Dead Redemption 2

We have got similar reports from players that have ordered the game from Amazon. According to Amazon people will get the game on the 30th of November. One of the Reddit users on the thread was a truck driver that has some experience in how Amazon works.

He explained that while Rockstar delivers thousands of Red Dead Redemption 2 physical copies well in advance, Amazon is not allowed to send them to couriers till the decided date. This is usually a day before launch. You can imagine that thousands of orders come through and that courier services can get overwhelmed with such a big number of deliveries that have to be made.

While some people do get the game at launch, not all ordered are delivered on time. This is why Amazon is taking so long to deliver Red Dead Redemption 2 physical copies. We just got a launch trailer of the game and that has added to the hype. The pre-load has stared, so you can download the game if you have got a digital copy.

Let us know what you think about the massive delay in the delivery of Red Dead Redemption 2 physical copies.
