Red Dead Redemption 2 Interaction System Detailed, Here Is How It Works!

The interaction system allows players to interact with NPCs the way they want and here is the detail on how Red Dead Redemption 2 interaction system works.

Rockstar Games is known for making believable worlds and upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 is no exception. The upcoming game features interaction system that allows players to interact with NPCs the way they want and here is the detail on how the Red Dead Redemption 2 interaction system works.

Rockstar Games has implemented a whole new Red Dead Redemption 2 interaction system that allows Morgan, the protagonist, to interact with NPCs in a believable way.

As explained in the Red Dead Redemption 2 preview by PlayStation Magazine, interacting with characters in the game have consequences and people react differently depending on the circumstances. Here is how the new Red Dead Redemption 2 interaction system works.

A whole new interaction system comes into play for this, with you focusing on the character with L2, and always having the option to draw your weapon with R2 (though you’d better be quick on the draw, cowboy). Depending on the situation you can use the face buttons for different interactions. That stranger riding by? You can greet them with (Square Button), or antagonise them with (Circle). Being interrogated by a sheriff? Maybe try reaching for the (Square) in your holster to defuse the situation rather than your gun. Get in a scuffle? You can hit (Circle) to beat your target, and then (Triangle) to threaten them, or dismiss them with (Square).

Speaking of the game, recently Rockstar Games gave us a first in-depth look at the game.

However, the trailer was showcasing PS4 Pro footage of the game and according to the technical analysis the game holds a steady 30 FPS and will also be 30 FPS On Xbox One X.

According to the analysis, the game runs at native 1920×2160 on the PS4 Pro which is 12.5% increase in pixels compared to the 1440p. This resolution is quite common for PS4 Pro games as there is no native 1440p support on PS4 Pro.

Also, Rockstar Games is very confident about Red Dead Redemption 2 and has noted that the game has the deepest open-world ever featured in a video game.

However, the studio has noted that the open-world isn’t a sandbox because in sandbox players can do anything.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world action adventure game in development at Rockstar Games and is scheduled to launch on October 26, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
