Nintendo will bring its highly anticipated game, Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild, to Gamescom 2016, but only 50 players wil be allowed to play it.

Nintendo has confirmed that its most anticipated game, Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild, will be present at Gamescom on August 17-21. Of course it is a big game, not only in scope but also in terms of fan base.

With the game like Legend Of Zelda, many fans will be expecting to get their hands on the game, and Nintendo will let attendees play the game. But there is a catch, that only 50 attendees will be allowed to to play the game during the convention.

However, the fortunate ones who get to play The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of the Wild will be selected by Nintendo. To be eligible to play the game, firstly the player must from Germany, Switzerland, or Austria. Secondly the players have three options: draw a Zelda-related picture, take a picture of their Zelda collection, or take one of their Zelda-themed costume.

In related news, Eiji Aonuma recently revealed the inspiration for Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild. According to him, the inspiration was 2014’s E3 Legend Of Zelda footage.

After creating the trailer, I really wanted to put that in the game. So I ended up making it come true. There’s a lot I learned from that trailer. Once we’d put that element in the game, it made us think: what else can we do with this enemy? How else could we fight it? It expanded to new story ideas as well. The trailer became the basis for the whole game.

As we all know that Link has always been the main protagonist for the franchise, but Nintendo did considered Princess Zelda to take his place but the idea was rejected.

Series creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, has said that Link will always be the hero of main Legend Of Zelda games and it will not change any time soon. However, he did left the possibility of a spin off with a female character open.

The game has been in development for a long time, and Nintendo has announced that Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild sales will have to be two million units, in order to make profit for the five year development of the game.

Legend On Zelda Breath Of The Wild is in development at Nintendo and will release exclusively for Wii U and Nintendo NX.
