The Phantom Pain PC Version Spotted, April Fools’ Day Prank?

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain PC version was spotted on a retailer website, could it be legit or an April Fools' Prank?

Phantom Pain
No doubt nearly everyone wants to see Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain PC version, heck even Hideo Kojima wants to make it. However, what is more evident than this is that it is April Fools’ Day today. So whatever we might see in the news, it should be taken with a pinch of salt.

That being said, here’s the story that could well be a leak from XtraLife or it could be a hurtful April Fools’ Prank. We have stumbled upon a listing over the Spanish Retailer’s website for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain PC version.

According to the listing, the game should be available in the market on March 12, 2015.

In this, the year does make sense as the game might come out in 2015 but the March 12 release date looks a bit out of order. It would be too early if Kojima Productions releases it, then as the expected time is around late 2015.

Here’s what Kojima had said about the game’s PC version couple of weeks ago:

PC, that’s my original background,” he said. “I originally created PC games. A long time ago I didn’t want to rely on platforms to release games, so if people want it, I cannot make a formal announcement, but that is definitely something that I would like to do.

Had it not been for the fear of an April Fools’ Prank, I am sure many of us would have rested their hopes in the listing for a Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain PC version.
