PayDay 2 Nintendo Switch is Cheaper

PayDay 2 Nintendo Switch is less costly than its PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC counterparts, according to a listing on GameStop.

The announcement was made that Payday 2 will be released on Switch back in April but they failed to make it so. A final date of the game is now February 27 in Americas and February 23 in Europe both physically and digitally. The delay might have been a disappointment but the newly discovered price point for the product might make up for it.

The physical version of the game appears to be priced at $49.99. The digital version could end up costing same at the physical version, though there is no confirmation for the time being.

GameStop’s listing says Payday 2 for Switch “will come with hundreds of masks for players to choose from, plus patterns and skins they can use to customize weapons, armor, and masks.’ It also has a new verity of mechanics and updates that make use of switch’s touch features. Amazon UK listed price of Payday 2 has the game down for (euro) 39.99.

In related news, Overkill’s The Walking Dead game comes out autumn 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Overkill, Payday series developer, has recently released a new teaser video that showed one of the four playable characters (Aiden). Aiden uses a club in the video, so we think he will be carrying a club in the game. Each playable character has their own special abilities like abilities, skill, trees, role, and stories. The official blurb:

The action is close up and intense: take out enemies carefully with silent melee attacks or go in guns blazing. You need to be able to improve, as nothing is certain, and a horde of walkers is always around the corner.

Considering the nature of the game and Overkill’s newfound interst in Nintendo Switch, we may see The Walking Dead on Nintendo Switch at some point.
