Fortnite is getting on the nerves of many parents but not all parents feel Fortnite should be banned. It’s common for parents to hire a coach for their kids in sports like football and Baseball. But now, parents are also hiring them to teach their kids to be better at Fortnite.
Fortnite is a global phenomenon, there’s hardly a gaming event where we don’t hear about it and it has now also become social proving ground in schools. According to WSJ, parents are hiring coaches for their kids to teach them how to play and win at Fortnite so they don’t lack behind other kids at school. We are not far away from Fortnite becoming a national past time.
A mother from England, Ally Hicks, decided to hire a coach for her 10-year-old son for $50 per hour online session to teach him how to survive and win at the game.
There’s pressure, not to just play it, but to be really good at it,” Hicks explained. “You can imagine what that was like for him at school.
Fortnite is now more than just a game you play online for fun and this doesn’t end here as adults are hiring for themselves too and the results are good as everyone seems to be so happy after getting that victory royale.
Fortnite is a huge success and the trend is not going away at all any time soon. Epic Games is keeping the hype alive by bringing new content to the game and recently we saw a special anniversary event in the game.
This seems all fun and nice but it’s getting out of our hands now and personally, I have seen children play the game all day and they don’t care about eating or sleeping at the time. It’s like a craze which is hard to leave. Despite being a free to play the game, Fortnite does include in-game cosmetics which can be a nightmare for parents as well as they cost a lot and we don’t think so that Fortnite is going away any time soon at all.
In fact, EA’s teaming up with Epic Games to add Fortnite celebrations to FIFA 19. Moreover, Fortnite craze even affected the German team’s performance in World Cup 2018. The players were caught playing too much Fortnite on PlayStation. The administration had to strip their access to WiFi.
