Overwatch Will Be Free From Nov 18-21 For All Platforms

Overwatch is one of the most refined games to launch this year, despite being a good game, not everyone is sold on it. So Blizzard Entertainment has decided to make the game free for a weekend.

Blizzard has announced that Overwatch will be free for everyone to play from November 18 to 21 for all platforms. All 22 heroes and 13 maps will be available for everyone to try.

For this free weekend, we’re making Overwatch’s full roster of 22 heroes and 13 maps available for play in a variety of modes, including Quick Play, Custom Games, and the latest Weekly Brawl. Players will also have the ability to level up, earn Loot Boxes, and unlock a variety of different customization options.

Also, if you decide to purchase the game afterward, then you will keep your progress that you made during the free weekend.

Also, Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the creative team has not forgotten about the inclusion of LGBT characters to the game’s roster, and these characters will be added to the game soon.

Lead Writer Michael Chu further added that he does not want the stories for these characters to just feel romantic, but the devs are trying to make familial relationships and stuff like that.

We do feel strongly that we want these stories about character’s relationships – not just romantic, but familial relationships and stuff like that – come out in the course of stories that we feel really do them justice.

Blizzard has also revealed the much rumored Overwatch character Sombra, and those fans who were looking for clues for Sombra’s existence can now rest.

Overwatch is a first person multiplayer shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
