Original Xbox Emulator Under Development, Can Run Many Xbox Games

XQEMU is an emulator for the original Xbox, it currently in early stages of development but it is steadily progressing. It has seen some recent advancements as it is now able to run some Xbox games on PC.

One example is Narc, you can see it running in the video above. However, to emulate any Xbox game you’ll need a very high-end PC. The one being used to run Narc has the following specs:

PC specs:

  • CPU – Intel Core i7 3770K @ 4.20 Ghz
  • RAM – 16 GB
  • GPU – MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 100ME
  • OS – Windows 10 64bit

Also, there is no sound for the time being and the game runs very slowly. For this very reason the video you see above had to be 4x accelerated.
