Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has officially been revealed with a new trailer and Square Enix has also revealed that Nixxes Software is the one handling the PC port of the game and now, Nvidia has revealed that it is collaborating with the developer for the PC version of the game.
In a blog post, Nvidia announced that it is collaborating with the studios working on the title to improve the game’s performance on PC and introduce PC exclusive enhancement.
Nvidia also collaborated with Square Enix, Eidos-Montréal, Crystal Dynamics, and Nixxes for Rise Of the Tomb Raider to introduce some PC exclusive content and improved performance.
Following the success of this collaboration, we’re pleased to announce that we’re working with the studios once more on the PC version of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. This collaboration will bring all the benefits of the GeForce gaming platform including GeForce technologies, GeForce Experience features, Game Ready Drivers and much more to deliver the definitive PC version for the Tomb Raider series.
Square Enix has also revealed the season pass for the game shortly after the trailer went live. The season pass will give players access to 7 adventures that will be available post-launch. The season pass for the game will bring one new adventure each month.
Crystal Dynamics has not shown much about the upcoming title but, last year a concept art for the game leaked which suggests that the game might feature unique weapons like a machete and a spear.
The leaked artwork comes from TAKEOFF Creative, which is a marketing firm and has a history of working with Square Enix.
Shadow Of the Tomb Raider is an action-adventure game in development at Crytal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal and is scheduled to launch on September 4, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
