Nintendo Switch OS Reportedly Contains NES Emulator

Nintendo has been creating a lot of buzz with its latest console, Nintendo Switch, and it seems that Nintendo has more surprises up its sleeves as data miners have found NES Emulator in the hybrid console along with an NES title in the Switch.

According to modders, they have found NES emulator already available in Nintendo Switch and also found a copy of NES Golf installed on it. The modders also found that the game has instructions specific for the Joy-Con controllers. According to the report, the game is installed in every copy of Switch OS.

This could be a good alternative to NES Classic Edition for those who couldn’t get their hands on the classic console and those who will get bored by pre-installed games on the Classic Edition. However, until Nintendo officially reveals it, take it as a grain of salt.

In related news, Bethesda is bringing their critically acclaimed DOOM to Switch later this year and that is not all, as Bethesda will also release the upcoming Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus for Switch sometime in 2018.

During the Nintendo Direct presentation, Bethesda announced Doom for Nintendo Switch and will arrive this holiday season. However, no further details were revealed about the Switch version of the game like if there will be any additional content or not.

A lot of third-party titles are coming to Nintendo Switch and the list might also include Final Fantasy XV. Game Director, Hajime Tabata hinted that Final Fantasy XV could come to Switch during the Gamescom 2017 live stream.

Tabata didn’t mention Nintendo Switch by name but, hinted towards it by saying that they might be bringing Final Fantasy XV to a console whose name is very similar to Twitch.
