Next Zelda Game Aims To Fully Explore And Utilize Nintendo Switch Features

The producer Eiji Aonuma of The Legend of Zelda series has revealed that there is a possibility for the next Zelda Game to roll out on Switch.

The producer Eiji Aonuma of the amazing series, Legend of Zelda, has shed some light on the next Zelda Game that the company not only will be rolling it out on Nintendo Switch but aims to fully explore and utilize all the features of this amazing console.

Aonuma added that the there is a huge possibility of the next Zelda Game after Breath of the Wild to release on Switch and in such a way that it will actually be utilizing all the features of the hybrid console.

Now since he said that it is a possibility, so it would be naive to not consider other possibilities. Still, this news is an assurance to the Zelda fans and the Switch console fans.

Apart from this news, Aonuma did not say when it shall release or what it will be like. So everyone is pretty thin on the news regarding it.

Talking about the Breath of the Wild, the producer also acknowledged the fact that although Breath of The Wild is one of the most successful games in the franchise and since it was not released primarily for Nintendo Switch, the team was not able to fully explore the features and the capability of that console.

He added that both the console and this game have a great potential and so with the next game, Nintendo has all the plans to fully integrate it with the hybrid console to utilize maximum features.

Be that as it may, it would not be wrong to say that we are years away from the next Zelda Game so there definitely is ample time for Nintendo to work on it.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was released on Wii and GameCube while Breath of the Wild was released on both Switch and Wii U.

So it would not be a wrong move for the devs to roll this one out on Switch. The success and potential of Switch is something that needs no argument.

Nintendo Switch has been so successful that it is normally not compared with other handheld or hybrid consoles instead its sales are compared with bigger consoles like Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Apparently, Nintendo has sold over 18 million units and is assumed to surpass 20 million by 2019. Which has everyone thinking that perhaps Switch has the potential of leveling up with the sales of Xbox One before the next gen rolls out. We know that it still is a long shot but this assumption defines its potential.

So rolling out the next Zelda Game on Switch and aiming to utilize the maximum potential of Switch is something that will be beneficial for not only Nintendo but for the gaming community as well.
