Although it was a small release, Rocket League has quickly risen to be a game with a dedicated community and a lucrative eSports scene. Not only that, the game developers are even hinting at a Nintendo NX release. With such a level of popularity, every Rocket League update is expected to fulfill user demands, like the one about better Quick Chat.
That is one feature they are going to expand the options for. Psyonix have also outlined another feature that the next patch is going to cover for the physics-based vehicle soccer game namely Post-Game Quick Chats.
Next Rocket League Update Detailed
The developers have revealed that in order to increase the interaction between competing players and teams, they are adding some more options for Quick Chat within the game as well as for Post-Game Quick Chats.
“Quick Chats” like those have been an essential part of Rocket League since we first launched and based on our community’s frequent recommendations, we’re increasing that functionality with 27 new Quick Chats in our massive June update.
Starting next month, you’ll be able to head into the “Chat” menu, located in the “Options” section, where you can remap new phrases with relative ease. Pre-select your choice from a much wider range than ever before, including player favorites like, “My bad, In Position, Siiiick!,” and “Need Boost!”
Here are some of the new Quick Chats that you will be able to use after the Rocket League update is released in the month of June:
- All yours.
- Calculated.
- Go for it!
- Great Clear!
- Holy cow!
- In position.
- Incoming!
- My bad…
- My fault.
- Need Boost!
- Nice Block!
- Nice one!
- No Way!
- Okay.
- Oops!
- Savage!
- Siiiick!
- What a play!
- Whew.
Also, there are adding eight post game quick chats to the game through the next Rocket League update which are these:
- Everybody dance!
- gg
- Nice moves.
- One. More. Game.
- Rematch!
- That was fun!
- Well played.
- What a Game!
