Battlefield is one of the most popular titles for EA and there is no doubt that DICE is probably working on its next Battlefield title. Battlefield 1 came out last year and the game is still visually impressive and the level of detail is just insane, however, it seems that developer DICE might be going ahead of Battlefield 1’s visuals for its next Battlefield title.
Speaking during EA’s recent financial conference, Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen confirmed that the next Battlefield title is slated to launch in the fiscal year 2019 and also revealed that the game will be “visually-stunning” and “deeply immersive”.
If Battlefield 1 is any proof that DICE knows how to make visually impressive games with full of detail and even manages it run smoothly on consoles, the next Battlefield title will surely be a visual marvel.
As for Battlefield 1, the game still has a strong player engagement. According to EA, for the second quarter of the 2018 financial year “the Battlefield 1 community grew to more than 23.5 million players worldwide”.
Also, considering the number of games launching specifically the multiplayer ones, it is an impressive achievement and with Call of Duty: WW2 just around the corner we wonder if Call of Duty can hold its own against DICE’s masterpiece.
Battlefield 1 is a first-person action shooter developed by EA DICE for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
