Newly-Discovered Bloodborne Enemy Found Three Years After Release

A newly-discovered Bloodborne enemy has been found in a Chalice Dungeon three years after the game was released, after first appearing at PSX 2014.

A newly-discovered Bloodborne enemy has made its first appearance in one of the game’s Chalice Dungeons, three years after the game was originally released on the Playstation 4. The Flaming Undead Giant was originally shown in the original Playstation Expo footage of the game back in 2014, but hasn’t made an appearance until now.

The Flaming Undead Giant, however, never made an appearance in the Chalice Dungeons after the game was released, which led to many players guessing that they had simply been cut. However, finally, one Bloodborne player going through a Chalice Dungeon found a Flaming Undead Giant in a room.

Considering that Chalice Dungeons are randomly and procedurally generated, and thus the enemies and bosses you find in them are often similarly random, it’s not really surprising that that sort of enemy hasn’t been seen before. At the same time, however, you would think that after three years of players going through Bloodborne over and over again and running through the Chalice Dungeons over and over again, that it would make at least one appearance before now.

In order to find the newly-discovered Bloodborne enemy, the player in question a player named Moros Nyx, did a Depth 4 Dungeon that was made from a Cursed and Defiled Root Chalice. However, since this is Bloodborne, you obviously shouldn’t expect an easy fight. The Flaming Undead Giant is armed with a pair of blades, one being a hook hand and the other a sword jammed into the stump of its arm. That sword part is also on fire, which gives the Flaming Undead Giant its name.

Other versions of the Undead Giant have already been part of the Chalice Dungeons for a while, mainly one that doesn’t have a fiery blade, and another that has a cannon on its other arm instead of a sword.

Either way, if you want to see this newly-discovered Bloodborne enemy for yourself, just look at the video further up the article.
