Need For Speed: No Limits Announced by EA for Mobile Platforms

After a leak on facebook, EA has now officially confirmed a new Need for Speed title. The game known as Need for Speed: No Limits, is a mobile project.

Do you have a need for speed? Unfortunately, this year that need will not be satisfied by an annual release. However, EA has announced a new mobile game called Need for Speed: No Limits.

“We’re proud and excited to be given the opportunity to partner with Ken Block on an upcoming mobile game project,” said an EA spokesperson.

Ken Block is a rally driver who posted some images on facebook, showing his latest ride. The car is a Gymkhana 7 and featured a bunch of promotional logos on it. Among those, was logo of Need for Speed: No Limits.

After this leak, EA officially confirmed the existence of a new mobile project. No release date is revealed yet but EA has stated that more details will be shared soon.

EA announced earlier this year that we won’t be seeing a new need for speed game this year.

The release of Need for Speed Most Wanted back in 2005, was a high point for the franchise. After which, this series slowly started to become mediocre and failed to innovate.

So EA has taken a break from this series after almost 17 straight years of releases (except from 2001). Hopefully, this one year gap will bring us something worthy enough and will put the series on the right track. Fans of the franchise will be able to see a new installment in 2015.
