Narcos Game Coming To PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One Ans Switch Next Year

If you are a fan of the Netflix hit Narcos then you’ll be excited to find out that a video game adaptation of the series, currently referred to as Narcos game, is coming to PC and all consoles next year.

Curve Digital, the publisher of numerous popular titles like The Flame in the Flood and Dear Esther is the one behind the Narcos game, with their sister company Kuju, taking charge of its development.

As stated by the publisher,  Narcos continues to grow in popularity around the world, with season 3 premiering as the most in-demand digital original in the U.S. and one of the top five worldwide according to Parrot Analytics. Available for viewing on the world’s most popular streaming service, Netflix, the show is currently available in over 130 countries.

Kuju’s studio head, Brynley Gibson says about the Narcos game:

“We’re looking forward to creating a game that matches the fantastic storyline and gritty action of the Netflix series. We’re tremendously excited and have some amazing gameplay elements in the works that will please both fans of the show and gamers.”

While Curve hasn’t revealed more information about the title, a release window has been announced, stated for Spring 2019. This might seem like a long time but we can work with it since so many great titles are set for release until then.

As for the game itself, it seems to be having an adventure character with Tim Stephen, Head of Legal and Business Affairs at Gaumont saying that;

“Curve Digital is a world leading video game publisher and we trust them to develop and create our first Narcos console game title that will thrill our millions of Narcos fans, allowing them to engage with the storylines and characters they have come to know over the past three seasons”

The Narcos game is expected to release in Spring 2019 for PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Always looking for a deep story, empathetic characters, and a great soundtrack in video games. Hardcore game hoarder and a strong believer that one day Xbox will win the console war.
